ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING

Environment Monitoring means a periodical and systematic sampling of Air, Water, Soil, biota in order to study the various parameters and Environmental Conditions. There are various purposes of conducting Environmental Monitoring like to study the Baseline Data. Also it helps to identify environmental stress, understand environmental patterns and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and programs.

1. Air Monitoring

  1. Ambient Air Monitoring- The process of evaluating the amount of pollutants present in the atmosphere as per the Air Quality Standards.
  2. Work Place Monitoring – Auditing the work place area where the person’s one third time of the day is spent. Parameters like temperature, humidity, Particulate Matter (PM 10 & PM 2.5 ), SOx, NOx, CO , CO2, etc are being studied here.
  3. DG/ Stack Monitoring- It is a process to measure emission of industrial waste or pollutants emitted into atmosphere through a point source. The pollutants emitted from stack can be solid, gaseous, liquid organic or inorganic. Parameters like SOx, NOX, TPM, Fumes, Acid Mist etc are studied.

2. Water Sampling

  1. Drinking Water Analysis – Samples like well water, Bore well Water, RO Samples.
  2. Wastewater Analysis – ETP & STP samples

3. Noise Level Monitoring

  1. Ambient Noise Level Monitoring for Industrial, Residential , Silence Zone
  2. Work Zone Noise Level Monitoring

4. Ventilation Survey:

Ventilation Survey plays an important role in knowing the Indoor Quality of Industries, Schools, offices, No. of Air Changes etc.

5. Illumination Survey

To study the Light Condition in Workplace.

6. Soil Analysis

The Process of examining the quality of soil by analyzing  various physical, chemical and biological parameters.

7. Solid Waste Testing.
